Potato au gratin is food originated in France. But I knew potato au gratin for the first time from my mother in law. She is not a French lady actually, She is a javanese. Food is always like a glue in every family. It never failed to tighten up each other among us. Every time I try to cook something, I always ask my family to try it then ask for their suggest. My first potato au gratin was not perfect. But I never feel hopeless about that. I improve my potato au gratin until my family said the taste is very good.
My potato au gratin only available on instagram and I was surprised that people are so enthusiast with my cooking. Even potato au gratin is not the local food here in Jakarta and there are still people who are not familiar with it. I don't have any cafe and restaurant of potato au gratin speciality but somehow people order it to me over and over again. I encourage whoever who wants to start culinary business to always listen to your taster and customer so that your cooking skill would be improve and your food would be tastier.
